I have a dream the great man said

His words keep rolling round my head

I have one too, the world I see

Is one of peace with mankind free

No war, no ills, just rolling hills

With Birds and trees and gentle breeze

No Black, no White, just human kind

Nor man nor woman cloud my mind

But people worthy of respect

My dream will be reality yet

No poor no lost no damned live here

Just peaceful, safe and free of fear

Until the day my dream comes true

I live in awe and fear of you

Who lie and cheat for wealth and power

And chaos cause the world o’er

Who go to war with others lives

No care for parents, children, wives

One day you’re tower will crumble down

You politicians of renown

Your power and wealth will see you damned

When peace spreads fully o’er the land

Then man and woman, race and creed

Will live lives full, no want or need

Then all our dreams will be fulfilled

A better world we’ll help to build

With greed and selfishness all gone

And human lives will be as one

No dreams and words go round my head

But peace and plenty in their stead

I have a dream the great man said

His words keep rolling round my head.
